Sample Lodge Package

Day One:

Depart from your home and arrive in Bozeman, Montana in the afternoon. Our staff will greet you at the airport and transport you to the Lodge. Grab your fishing vest, set up your rod and fish our pond, or take a ten-minute walk and fish the Gallatin River right on the ranch. Enjoy dinner in the Lodge Grill. Visit with the guides after dinner and prepare for your week!

Day Two:

After a hearty breakfast, depart for a float trip on the Upper Madison River with your guide. If you need flies, we can put a selection in a fly box for you. You just pay for what you use during your
stay. Enjoy a streamside picnic lunch packed by the Lodge chef.  Return for dinner and relax by the pond or in our angler’s private library in the Lodge.

Day Three:

Take a float trip on the Yellowstone River or walk and wade several stretches of the Gallatin River. Enjoy dinner on the Lodge’s patio while you watch Rainbows rising in our spring pond.

Day Four:

Take a quick drive to float the Lower Madison River.  Quite different from the upper river, some of the largest Browns have been taken in this section.   Arrive back at the Lodge and have a late dinner in the dining room. We are happy to accommodate anglers that wish to fish the evening hatch!

Day Five:

Enjoy a late breakfast and relax by the trout pond. Take an advanced casting clinic offered by one of our experienced guides. Catch a few of the “Lodge Rainbows” at the pond (many are close to 20 inches now!) Walk back to the Gallatin for the evening hatch. Have a late dinner and enjoy some cowboy poetry by the fireplace in the Lodge Great Room.

Day Six:

After breakfast, take a drive to DePuy’s Spring Creek or the MZ Ranch for the day. Fish for challenging selective Browns and Rainbows with personal assistance from your guide. Return on a beautiful “off the beaten track” country road to the Lodge. Relax on the north deck while the sun sets on the Bridger Mountains. Try a new Chef’s special entree prepared at your request for your last night in the Lodge!

Day Seven:

Take a couple of hours after breakfast and fish the Gallatin at the Lodge. Or spend a little time checking out Bozeman’s shops and museums. Meet our staff mid-day for a short trip to the airport for your flight home.
“Staying at your lovely peaceful lodge was a highlight of our driving vacation. Your location, ambiance and food were wonderful. Our stay of one night was too short! Leroy started talking of returning to fish right away.”
